Two Grupo of the Fuerza Aerea del Perú (FAP), Grupo 3 and Grupo 8, are based at Lima-Callao/Base Aérea Jorge Chavez. The base became operational in 1944 and is named after one of Peru’s early aviation pioneers. 2019 marks the 100th anniversary of the FAP and many aircraft, such as the Learjet above, are wearing commemorative markings.

Escuadrón de Helicópteros 315 with Bo105LSA-3 (in service from 1983)
Escuadrón de Helicópteros 332 with Bell 212 (in service from 1972)
Escuadrón de Helicópteros 341 with Bell 412 (in service from 1988), Mil Mi-8 (in service from 1970) & Mi-17 (in service from 1992). The Bell 412 operates medivac flights.
Grupo Aéreo de Transporte N°8
Escuadrón de Transporte 841 with Boeing 737 (in service from 2000) and Gates Learjet 45. The latter operates medivac flights.
Escuadrón de Transporte 842 with Lockheed L100-20 Hercules (in service from 1972)
Escuadrón de Transporte 843 with Antonov An-32 (in service from 1987)
Escuadrón de Transporte 844 with Alenia C-27J Spartan (in service from 2015)
